thanks for the comment. I doubt that there will ever be anything like the films that John Hughes made. I just hope that they never try to do re-makes. The impending 'Footloose' re-make has me feeling a little saddened.

This is a terrible time for everyone concerned and healing properly is a process that takes years. It's 18 months now since my dad died and I'm still not over it. Time will help.

yeah, I guess it is that feeling of being noticed, perhaps being recognised - for being admired for standing up for what you believe in.
